DESCRIPTION 

Koro ProFlexx Slab Waterproof Paint is a modified Styrene Butadiene emulsion additive that is mixed with cement or cement-sand mortar to improve adhesion and waterproofing properties.

  • Density (at 25oC): 1.02 kg/l.
  • VOC content, < 35g/liter
  • Consumption: 4 m2/kg/layer and depending on the surface state.
  • Packing size: 1liter, 5 liters & 18 liters
  • Storage period: 24 months.

 

Surface preparation

  • Concrete surface must be clean, in good condition, free from grease, cement dust and other adhering impurities.
  • Saturate the entire absorbent surface but do not allow water to stagnate.

Paint application

Use as a bonding agent for old and new concrete  

  • Mixing ratio: 4 kg of cement + 1 liter of Koro ProFlexx Slab Waterproof Paint + 1 liter of water for covering about 4 m².

Using as waterproof floor plaster

  • Mix ratio: Cement : Sand = 1 : 3 (1) Koro ProFlexx Slab Waterproof Paint: Water = 1 : 3 (2)
  • Pour mixture (2) into (1) and mix until the consistency is suitable for application.

Construction

  • Apply the waterproofing mortar layer as soon as the connecting oil (grouting) layer is still wet;
  • Consumption density: 1 liter ProFlexx/m² for a 2 cm thick of mortar;
  • Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after application.

Important Instructions

  • Always mix cement into Proflexx water as a binder;
  • Follow standard of maintenance practices;
  • Always saturate the application surface but do not allow water to stagnate;
  • If applying multiple layers, apply while the previous layer is still wet.
